GOV. MALLOY: SANDY HOOK ADVISORY COMMISSION TO MEET FRIDAY

(HARTFORD, CT) - Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that the Sandy Hook Advisory Commission is next scheduled to meet on Friday, March 15 at the Legislative Office Building in Hartford to discuss items that have been proposed to the committee for further consideration and possible inclusion in their interim report, which they anticipate releasing on Monday, March 18.

The Sandy Hook Advisory Commission is a 16-member panel of experts created by Governor Malloy to review current policy and make specific recommendations in the areas of public safety, with particular attention paid to school safety, mental health, and gun violence prevention.

Friday's meeting begins at 9:30 a.m. in Room 1A.
