WEDNESDAY: GOV. MALLOY SPEAKS AT EASTERN CONN. CHAMBER MEETING; PARTICIPATES IN NEW LONDON LANDMARKS FORUM; ANNOUNCES GRANT IN PLAINFIELD; KEYNOTES CONN. COUNCIL OF SMALL TOWNS MEETING
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Wednesday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will give the keynote address at a meeting of the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut in Norwich.
Following that, Governor Malloy will provide remarks at a forum hosted by New London Landmarks, a non-profit corporation designed to promote preservation and development in New London.
Later, Governor Malloy will hold a news conference in Plainfield with Mayor Paul Sweet and State Representative Mae Flexer (D-Killingly, Plainfield) to announce a state grant for the town.
In the afternoon, Governor Malloy will give the keynote address at the Connecticut Council of Small Towns' annual conference in Cromwell.
