WEDNESDAY: GOV. MALLOY HOLDS NEWS CONFERENCE TOUTING BENEFITS OF CLEANER, CHEAPER & MORE RELIABLE ENERGY FOR BUSINESSES; MAKES ANNOUNCEMENTS ON EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT FUNDING IN BARKHAMSTED & THOMASTON

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Wednesday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy and Department of Energy & Environmental Protection Commissioner Daniel Esty will visit Carla's Pasta, Inc. in South Windsor for a tour of the business, which is undergoing an expansion and creating more jobs after changing to a cleaner, cheaper and more reliable fuel alternative. Immediately following the tour, they will hold a news conference to discuss the Governor's recently unveiled draft energy strategy .

In the afternoon, Governor Malloy will hold two separate news conferences in Barkhamsted and Thomaston to announce the release of state funding for each town's emergency management efforts.
