MONDAY: GOV. MALLOY GIVES WARM SEND-OFF TO HIGH SCHOOL JAZZ GROUP PERFORMING AT OLYMPICS

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Monday afternoon, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will visit the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts to give a warm send-off to the Real Ambassadors at one of their final rehearsals before heading to London to perform at the 2012 Summer Olympic Games. The Real Ambassadors is a 14-member high school jazz group and is the only non-professional group invited to perform at the games. Monday's rehearsal is open to the public and the school is asking for a $10 donation from those attending to help cover the costs of the students' travel. In London, the choir will perform two 40-minute sessions on the main bandstand at Olympic Park on July 31.
