TUESDAY: GOV. MALLOY SPEAKS TO SCHOOL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATORS; HOLDS MONTHLY COMMISSIONERS MEETING; ATTENDS ROSES FOR AUTISM CEREMONY; HONORED BY WINDHAM REGION CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Tuesday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy, will speak at the Connecticut Association of School Business Officials (CASBO) Professional Development and Vendor Day in Southington, where he will speak about his proposals to improve the public school system in the state.

Later, Governor Malloy will hold his monthly meeting with the commissioners of each state agency. During the meeting, Department of Labor Commissioner Glenn Marshall and Department of Developmental Services Commissioner Terry Macy will each give presentations with updates on issues concerning their respective agencies.

In the afternoon, Governor Malloy will participate in a ribbon cutting ceremony in Guilford for Roses for Autism, a nonprofit that provides training and employment for individuals on the autism spectrum.

In the evening, Governor Malloy will attend the Windham Region Chamber of Commerce's annual awards ceremony, where he will receive an award for his efforts to support small businesses and grow jobs.
