MONDAY: GOV. MALLOY SPEAKS AT SCSU SOCIAL WORK LOBBY DAY; TOURS R&D DYNAMICS IN BLOOMFIELD; MEETS WITH PARENTS ON EDUCATION REFORM

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Monday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will give remarks at Southern Connecticut State University's annual Social Work Lobby Day at the State Capitol.

In the afternoon, the Governor will visit R&D Dynamics Corporation in Bloomfield for an opportunity to tour the company and meet with its executives and employees. The company designs and produces oil-free, efficient and affordable foil bearing supported high-speed turbomachinery for various aerospace and commercial applications.

In the evening, Governor Malloy will meet with a group of parents from local Parent Teacher Organizations for a roundtable discussion on the Governor's proposals for education reform.
