THURSDAY: GOV. MALLOY PARTICIPATES IN EDUCATION & WORKFORCE TRAINING ROUNDTABLE; ATTENDS GKN AEROSPACE GROUNDBREAKING

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Thursday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will join Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro at a roundtable discussion with education, community and business leaders about how to best prepare local students for the workforce. The discussion will focus on how community colleges and local businesses can work together to ensure that curricula offered will best prepare students for available jobs.

Later, Governor Malloy will attend the groundbreaking ceremony for GKN Aerospace Services, an aviation company that is expanding in Cromwell, where they will be adding an additional 60 jobs over the next three years. Governor Malloy will tour the facility, which will be followed by a speaking program and groundbreaking.
