THURSDAY: GOV. MALLOY ATTENDS PITNEY BOWES RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY; ATTENDS STAMFORD INNOVATION ANNOUNCEMENT; HOLDS NEWS CONFERENCE ON EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION PROPOSAL
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Thursday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will join Pitney Bowes Chairman, President and CEO Murray Martin at a ribbon cutting ceremony for the company's new Global Technology Center in Danbury.
Later that morning, Governor Malloy will attend a news conference in Stamford with members of the Stamford Innovation Center and Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation to make an announcement on a new initiative between the two groups.
Later that afternoon, Governor Malloy will host a news conference in West Hartford to announce a new proposal regarding early childhood education.
