WEDNESDAY: GOV. MALLOY ADDRESSES SMALL TOWN OFFICIALS; ANNOUNCES RESULTS OF CARE & SHARE HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Wednesday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will stop in and give remarks at the Connecticut Council of Small Towns (COST) Municipal Leaders Training Institute, an event intended to provide information to newly elected and returning town leaders about key programs, laws, policies and resources that will be available to them as they begin their new or first term in office.

Later Wednesday afternoon, Governor Malloy will host the closing event and announce the results of the 28th annual Governor's Care & Share Holiday Food Drive, the state employee drive to benefit Connecticut Food Bank and Foodshare. The campaign was kicked off on November 10 and ran through December 9.
