TUESDAY: GOV. MALLOY ATTENDS NEWS CONFERENCE ON DONATIONS FOR VETERANS; VISITS THOMPSON & PUTNAM TO MAKE GRANT ANNOUNCEMENTS

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m., Governor Dannel P. Malloy will give remarks at a news conference hosted by State Representative Betty Boukus (D-Plainville), other lawmakers and representatives from the Connecticut Department of Veterans' Affairs to announce this year's collection of new, unwrapped clothing and other items that will be donated to the Connecticut State Veterans' Home in Rocky Hill. The donations are a part of the Ninth Annual State Capitol Secret Santa Collection.

At 1:15 p.m., Governor Malloy will visit the Town of Thompson with other state and local officials to make an economic development grant announcement.

At 2:00 p.m., Governor Malloy will visit the Town of Putnam with other state and local officials to make a separate economic development grant announcement.
