WEDNESDAY: GOV. MALLOY ATTENDS S.T.O.R.M. IRENE MEETING; VISITS CARRIAGE HOUSE OF NEW LONDON

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Wednesday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will attend the first meeting of the State Team Organized for the Review of Management (S.T.O.R.M.) Irene assessment panel, which was created by Governor Malloy to evaluate the preparedness, response and recovery efforts of the state and its partners related to Tropical Storm Irene.

Continuing on his Jobs Tour, on Wednesday afternoon Governor Malloy will participate in the grand opening ceremony of the Carriage House of New London, a car dealership that relocated to a space that doubles its size and hired additional employees to handle the expected increase in business. The event will give the Governor an opportunity to meet with employees, tour the new state-of-the-art facility and meet with dealers from around the state who will attend.
