WEDNESDAY: GOV. MALLOY CONTINUES SPEAKING TO CONNECTICUT BUSINESS COMMUNITY ABOUT JOB CREATION, EXPANSION

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Wednesday, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will continue his Jobs Tour with stops in Hartford, Ellington and Storrs.

At 9 a.m., Governor Malloy will give opening remarks at the Credit Union League of Connecticut's Annual Government Affairs Conference in Hartford.

At 10:30 a.m., Governor Malloy will visit Dymotek in Ellington. The company is a state-of-the-art plastic injection molding business, offering unique engineering, molding, assembly and distribution solutions.

At 5:00 p.m., Governor Malloy and Commissioner Smith will attend the groundbreaking ceremony for the Mansfield Downtown Partnership's Storrs Center. The project will produce 70,000 square feet of retail space, 290 units of market rate rental housing, a new town square and municipal parking garage, and streetscape improvements. The initial phase will generate approximately 175 jobs with close to 800 predicted at full build-out of the project.
