MONDAY: GOVERNOR MALLOY HOLDS MEDIA AVAILABILITY ON ROUTE 11; SPEAKS AT CPA MEETING; KEYNOTES SMALL MANUFACTURERS MEETING

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Monday morning, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will join Congressman Joe Courtney, Department of Environmental Protection Commissioner Daniel C. Esty, and Department of Transportation Acting Commissioner James P. Redeker for a meeting to discuss the future development of Route 11 in eastern Connecticut. Immediately following their meeting at 10:45, they will hold a brief media availability outside of the Governor's office.

On Monday afternoon, Governor Malloy will give a speech at the Connecticut Society of CPAs annual meeting in Plainville, where he will discuss the state budget and his efforts to get the state's fiscal house in order.

On Monday evening, Governor Malloy will give the keynote speech at the Smaller Manufacturer Association of Connecticut's annual meeting in Watertown.
