GOVERNOR MALLOY & LT. GOVERNOR WYMAN MOURN LOSS OF FORMER STATE AUDITOR LEO DONOHUE
(HARTFORD, CT) - Governor Dannel P. Malloy and Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman released the following statement today mourning the loss of Leo Donohue, who served as Democratic State Auditor from 1967 to 1992.
"We were deeply saddened today to learn of the passing of former Democratic State Auditor Leo Donohue. Leo was a man who was truly committed to the democratic process, and ensuring that taxpayer dollars were efficiently and wisely spent. He dedicated his career to improving the transparency and accessibility of state government. Leo was an intelligent, articulate and passionate individual who made a significant, positive and lasting impact on the State of Connecticut. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time."
