(HARTFORD, CT) - On Wednesday afternoon, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will take a business tour of the FuelCell Energy manufacturing facility in Torrington. The tour of the company's facility will give the Governor an opportunity to meet with the management team and staff at the Connecticut-based business, which manufactures Ultra-Clean stationary fuel cell power plants that generate electricity with up to twice the efficiency of conventional fossil fuel plants and virtually no air pollution.
Later Wednesday afternoon, Governor Malloy will join Share Our Strength and End Hunger Connecticut for the launch of the Connecticut No Kid Hungry Campaign to help end childhood hunger.
On Wednesday evening, Governor Malloy will hold a town hall meeting in New Haven, the tenth stop in his statewide series of 17 town hall meetings to discuss the state's pressing economic and budgetary issues face-to-face with state residents.
