UPDATES TO GOVERNOR MALLOY'S SCHEDULED TOWN HALL MEETINGS IN BRISTOL, MERIDEN AND MIDDLETOWN
New locations for Meriden and Bristol; New date and location for Middletown.
(HARTFORD, CT) - Hoping to accommodate the anticipated number of attendees, the host communities of Bristol, Meriden and Middletown have moved the locations of Governor Dannel P. Malloy's upcoming town hall meetings to new venues. While the previously announced dates for Bristol and Meriden will remain the same, the date for Middletown has been moved to April 12.
This statewide series of constituent meetings will allow Governor Malloy to discuss the state's pressing economic and budgetary issues face-to-face with state residents, while listening to their own thoughts and suggestions, as well. All of the events are open to the public, tickets are not necessary. The Governor has held three stops so far in the series of seventeen town hall meetings, beginning last week in Bridgeport and followed by stops in Torrington and New London.
The most recently updated list of town hall meetings are also kept on the Governor's official website at: http://www.ct.gov/malloy/townhalls
