GOV. MALLOY ORDERS FLAGS RETURNED TO FULL STAFF AT SUNSET
(HARTFORD, CT) - Governor Dannel P. Malloy ordered that the Connecticut and U.S. flags be returned to full staff at sunset today.
The flags were lowered on March 14, 2011 in honor of Sergeant First Class Dae Han Park, an Army Special Forces soldier who was killed in action in Wardak Province, Afghanistan when his vehicle was hit by an IED. Sgt. 1st Class Park, 36, graduated from Watertown High School in Connecticut.
The funeral for Sgt. 1st Class Park is being held today in Washington state.
