Welcome to the website of the Judicial Review Council. The Council's purpose is to promote high standards of judicial conduct and to ensure the integrity and independence of the judiciary by investigating allegations of misconduct by judicial officers and, if guilt is found after a public hearing, to impose appropriate sanctions as authorized by statute. This website will provide information regarding the statutory framework under which the Council conducts business, information on how to file a complaint against a judicial officer, and information about how a complaint is investigated and resolved as well as statistical information about disposition of the complaints received. We encourage you to contact our office if you have any questions about how the Council functions to fulfill its mandate.
