Unite CT helps renters who earn up to 80% of the HUD's Area Median Income (AMI). Funding is provided by the United States Treasury and administered by the Department of Housing.
Since there is no end date for this program, assistance will be available until all funds have been committed.

According to State Housing Commissioner Seila Mosquera Bruno, the goal of UniteCTs "is to help stabilize Connecticut's rental housing market." The Governor hopes that the program will help families get back on their feet without having to worry about their housing.
