(HARTFORD, CT) – Governor Ned Lamont of Connecticut, Governor Gina Raimondo of Rhode Island, and Governor Charlie Baker of Massachusetts today released the following joint statement regarding their regional policy meeting that was held today on the campus of Rhode Island College in Providence:
“Today’s meeting was a valuable opportunity to continue our conversation about the challenges facing our region and the benefits of collaboration. There’s a lot we can learn from one another; each of our states is strengthened when we can work together to address issues like the cost of healthcare, the threat of climate change, the importance of public education, and the urgency of workforce development in our changing economy. We look forward to continuing these conversations in the months ahead.”
