If you need assistance, there are a multitude of state and local resources available to you, depending on your needs and current situation:

  • K-12 Students or Student Families should contact their school district’s IT Director for general inquiries, device needs (computer or mobile hotspot), broadband connectivity issues and digital literacy resources.
  • Businesses should contact the Office of State Broadband for inquiries regarding broadband service access and to inform the Department of inadequate broadband service offerings to your current business location. Inadequate broadband service offerings can be defined as fairly priced broadband service that is not adequate to conduct your essential business needs.
  • Unemployed Persons should contact their Regional Workforce Development Board to request guidance for access to device and Internet-providing resources. Additional resources are typically available at local libraries.
  • Connecticut Residents should contact their Regional Councils of Governments office, in addition to their local public leaders - State Representative or Senator, Mayor, Councilman, etc. - with information regarding unserved or underserved regions, neighborhoods and households.
