Age-adjusted mortality rate (AAMR) and Years of Potential Life Lost (YPLL) tables for 1989-1998 are available for 62 causes of death. Data are presented for all Connecticut residents, for males and females, and by race/ethnicity. AAMR and YPLL rates are age-adjusted using three different standards (1940, 1970, and 2000 standard populations) and are available for single and multiple years. All tables include statistical comparisons with an earlier time period.
