Government Relations Office
The Office of Government Relations is responsible for the full range of legislative and regulatory information and referral activities of the Department of Public Health, including:-
Managing and developing the Department's legislative programs and implementing strategies to achieve the goals of the Department's legislative agenda.

Acting as a Commissioner’s liaison to the General Assembly, Congressional delegation, community-based organizations, private sector organizations and other public interest groups.

Providing assistance to constituents concerning Department policy and programs.

Answering questions concerning the Public Health Code.

Developing Department regulations, which includes updating and maintaining the Public Health Code.

Assisting in the development of the Department's informational materials and publications.
