The Federal Government has reopened COVIDtests.gov. Every household can order four over-the-counter COVID-19 tests for free. These tests are intended to detect currently circulating COVID-19 variants. Please visit COVIDtests.gov for your free test.

GIS is used in a variety of ways in public health.  Spatial measurements and the statistics associated allow disease patterns and relationships to be quantified.  GIS also allows vital resources to be plotted to ensure communities have the services they need whether they are prevention or environmental health programs, medical services, or quality drinking water.

The links below will connect you with a sampling of how the Department of Public Health is using GIS in our efforts to promote the health and safety of Connecticut residents.
