The Department of Energy & Environmental Protection (DEEP) hereby gives notice of the reissuance of the General Permit for the Discharge of Dewatering and Remediation Wastewaters (“D2R GP”) on February 27, 2026, becoming effective March 1, 2026, and expiring on February 28, 2031.

DEEP has modernized its regulatory oversight by transitioning to a digital platform for online applications and noncompliance reporting. Additionally, the agency recently launched a public-facing portal designed for reporting water quality complaints and concerns related to water pollution.
