DEEP headquarters at 79 Elm Street in Hartford has partially re-opened to staff and members of the public as of Tuesday, February 3. The DEEP records room has re-opened. The DEEP Central Permit Processing Unit (CPPU) will be open to the public starting on Wednesday, Feb. 4. For updates, click here

Commissioner’s Constituent Groups

Two external constituent groups periodically meet with the managerial staff of the Department to discuss Connecticut’s environmental agenda, policy, legislative initiatives, budget and resource issues. The two groups – Environmental Organizations and Business and Professional Organizations – are comprised of individuals from various agency stakeholder groups including representatives from environmental organizations, municipal associations, the business and industry community, and a number of trade organizations. Established in the spring of 2005, the meetings are held primarily at the DEEP’s headquarters in Hartford.
