Gov. Malloy: Leading International Energy Retailer Expands in Connecticut
Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that Crius Energy, through its wholly owned subsidiary Regional Energy Holdings, will relocate its headquarters to Norwalk, where the company will retain its 200 jobs and create 225 new positions within the next four years.

Gov. Malloy Announces Xerox to Keep Headquarters, Jobs in Norwalk
Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced a partnership with the Xerox Corporation that secures the company’s headquarters and 150 jobs in Norwalk, where it has been located since 2008. As part of the project, Xerox may add between 20 to 40 new jobs over the next four years.

Gov. Malloy: AQR Capital Management to Expand, Add Up to 600 New Jobs in Connecticut
Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that AQR Capital Management, a global investment management firm, plans to expand its headquarters and operations in Connecticut over the next ten years - a more than $72 million project that will retain 540 jobs, create up to 600 new jobs, and significantly increase the firm's economic impact in the state.

Gov. Malloy Announces Henkel Corporation Moving Headquarters Across the Country and Creating Hundreds of Jobs in Connecticut
Governor Dannel P. Malloy is applauding the decision of Germany-based Henkel Corporation to relocate its Laundry & Home Care and Beauty Care headquarters across the country from Arizona to Stamford, Connecticut, where the company plans on expanding in a $50 million project that will create up to 266 new jobs in the state.

Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) is now accepting applications for its 10th round of competitive grant funding that will provide up to $5 million to remediate and redevelop brownfield sites throughout the state.

Gov. Malloy Announces Latest Round of Funding to Help Remediate and Revitalize Connecticut Brownfields
Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that the Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) is providing $7.9 million in grants to 14 towns and cities across the state for brownfield remediation and assessment activities. The projects comprise 187 acres of redevelopment.

Gov. Malloy Announces Davis-Standard Expanding Manufacturing Facility in Pawcatuck
Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that Davis-Standard, LLC, the leading manufacturer of extrusion machinery in the country, is expanding its primary facility at its headquarters in Pawcatuck, in a plan that includes adding 15,000 square feet of manufacturing space and over 30 jobs in the next two years to its largest global site, which currently employs over 400 people.

Gov. Malloy: Leading Furniture Retailer to Expand its Headquarters Significantly in Connecticut and Create 125 New Jobs
Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that the headquarters of Bob's Discount Furniture, a national furniture store chain, will expand in Manchester with a new project that will significantly increase the company's space, retain 326 people, and create 125 new jobs in the next five years.

Gov. Malloy Announces New Round of Funding to Help Remediate and Revitalize Connecticut Brownfields
Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) is now accepting applications for its ninth round of competitive grant funding that will be awarded to help remediate and redevelop brownfield sites throughout the state. A total of $6.5 million will be earmarked for remediation projects and $1 million will be reserved for assessment projects.

Gov. Malloy: Small Business Express Program has Supported 1,500 Companies to Expand and Create Jobs
Governor Dannel P. Malloy, joined by Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) Commissioner Catherine Smith, today announced that the state's Small Business Express Program (EXP) has reached a new milestone. With an economic toolkit the state did not have prior to the Governor's administration, more than 1,500 Connecticut companies have been supported by the program, helping create and retain over 22,000 jobs.

Malloy today announced that Pietro Rosa TBM, a leading manufacturer of compressor airfoils for gas turbines and complex structural components, has acquired Farmington-based New England Airfoil Products and, in addition to retaining the company's current workforce, will be creating 100 new positions over the next five years.

Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that six municipalities in the state - East Hartford, Meriden, New Britain, Old Saybrook, Waterbury, and Torrington - are being awarded over $1 million in state grants to develop plans for remediating and developing clusters of brownfield sites.
