Today: Gov. Malloy Holds News Conference on State's Long-Term Financial Health, Kicks Off City Canvas Arts Project
(HARTFORD, CT) - This afternoon, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will hold a news conference on the state's long-term financial health.
Later, Governor Malloy will attend the launch of City Canvas, an innovative new arts initiative of the Department of Economic & Community Development designed to revitalize Connecticut's public spaces through large-scale art installations and spur economic development and growth. In addition to Governor Malloy, also attending will be Rocco Landesman, Chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), and the mayors of the cities of Bridgeport, Hartford, New Britain, New London, Norwalk, Stamford, Torrington and Waterbury.
