Drug collection boxes, or drop boxes, are a way you can safely dispose of your unwanted medications. They can be found at secure locations throughout the state, including many police departments and some pharmacies. Simply bring your unwanted drugs to a drug collection location and put them in the collection box to dispose of them.
To find a drug collection box near you using the map below:
- Click on the magnifying glass located at the top left corner of the map. This will bring up a search box.
- Type your address into the search box. The map will show your location. You can use the + and – buttons at the bottom left of the map to zoom in or zoom out.
- Click on the blue and orange dots in the map for information about the drug collection box’s location. Law enforcement locations are displayed with blue dots.
Tips
- Click on the legend box at the bottom right to see what type of drug collection box is in your area.
- Click on the point of interest to see the name of the facility and the city of that location.
- To see a full list of drug collection boxes, or to see an exact address, click on the grid icon at the bottom left of the map.
