Gaming Data and Documents

Welcome to the Gaming Data and Documents page!

The Gaming Division maintains public records including amount wagered, patron winnings, and transfers to the state's General Fund for each platform. Statistics are available through Connecticut Open Data, a public database that automatically updates with the latest information. Users can adjust the date range and export the data to an Excel spreadsheet to improve readability.

To access the Source Data, click the three vertical dots in the top-right corner of the chart. The Source Data shares when information is updated, defines terms, and provides historical context.

Sports Wagering

In 2021, sports wagering became legal in Connecticut for adults 21 years or older. To change the date range, please select your desired month and year on the right side of the chart.

Casino

Please note that "Total Slot Machines Contributions to State by Each Casino Over Time" only shows completed years' data. To view contributions for the current year, visit "Monthly Slot Revenue from Casinos for Current Year."

Annual Transfers to the General Fund

Displays each platform and the amount of money transferred to the State of Connecticut's General Fund since 1972.

Charitable Games

Charitable games include bingo, sealed tickets, raffles, and bazaars. Since 2018, municipalities are now responsible for operating and recording data for bingo, raffles, and bazaars.
