Policy 39-10-1

The Department of Children and Families is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in its care and custody. To that end, when a child residing in a DCF-licensed congregate care facility experiences a behavioral crisis or medical emergency and requires support and care beyond that available within the contracted staffing level, provisions may be made to provide the requisite individualized care through the implementation of one-to-one services.
