Addressing Communication Needs When Children are Placed in a Residential Facility

The purpose of this new policy is to instruct staff to make reasonable efforts to ensure that all children placed in residential child care facilities, and their families, whose primary language is other than English, or who are deaf, receive equal treatment services.
