The Statewide Racial Justice Workgroup (SRJWG) was created in 2013 under the previous administration to support DCF’s goal of cultivating and sustaining an environment where employees, families, and all our partners can openly discuss the impacts of racism, power, and privilege on agency practice and their personal lives. We recognize that becoming a racial justice organization is an ongoing process and it is through the learning along the way that our organizational culture and our workplace will be strengthened.
