RE: DOCKET NO. 241 - Omnipoint Facilities Network 2, LLC, application for a Certificate of Environmental Compatibility and Public Need for the construction, maintenance and operation of a wireless telecommunications facility at one of two locations at 79 Church Hill Road, one location at 3 Edmond Street, or one location at 32 Schoolhouse Hill Road, Newtown, Connecticut.
The Connecticut Siting Council has scheduled a field review for this docket for Thursday, May 1, 2003, beginning at 1:30 p.m. Council members will meet at the site off of Walnut Tree Hill Road in Newtown. Directions are enclosed. Please be advised that a quarter mile walk uphill through the woods will be required to see the alternate site at 79 Church Hill Road.
A public hearing is scheduled for Thursday, May 1, 2003, beginning at 3:00 p.m. at the Edmond Town Hall, 45 Main St (Route 25), Newtown, Connecticut.
