The Council on Environmental Quality invites you to its next meeting to say what's on your mind. We want to know what you think the state does well and which state environmental programs need improvement. Whether your concerns involve open space, DEP enforcement, water pollution control, energy, economic development, or quality of life, we want to know what you think the state's environmental priorities should be.
WHEN:Wednesday, July 27, 2011
5:30 PM until conclusion (no later than 7:30 PM)
The forum will follow a brief regular Council meeting (open to the public) that will begin at 5:00 and end before 5:30.. Then we will hear from you.

FORMAT:
Informal hearing. For people wishing to speak, there will be a sign-up sheet near the entrance of the meeting room. People will be called to the podium in the order in which they sign up. The exact amount of time you will have depends on the number of people who sign up to speak, but normally people get about five minutes to make their points. You can prepare a statement in advance and hand it in, or speak off the cuff. The Council will be holding a brief monthly meeting, which is open to the public, from 5:00 until approximately 5:20. The public forum will begin at approximately 5:30 PM. If you have special needs or any questions, please call the Council office at 860-424-4000 prior to July 22.
