If the waste collection dumpster does not contain cannabis, it is not subject to the cannabis security measures. Cannabis is required to be disposed of in accordance with Section 21a-421j-3 of the department’s policies and procedures. Any resulting remains after disposal may be collected in a dumpster and will not be considered to be cannabis because it will have been rendered non-recoverable.
