State Secures Custody of Neglected Horses, Announces Adoption Process
Attorney General William Tong and Agriculture Commissioner Bryan P. Hurlburt today announced the state has secured custody of eight formerly malnourished and severely neglected horses seized from Laurel Ledge Farm in Oakdale. After extensive medical care and rehabilitation at the state’s Second Chance Large Animal Rehabilitation Program in Niantic, Attorney General Tong and Commissioner Hurlburt announced today the horses are available for public adoption.

Healthcare Company And Lab Pay $845k To Resolve Federal And State False Claims Act Allegation
Attorney General William Tong and John H. Durham, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, today announced that Cordant Health Solutions entered into a civil settlement with the federal and state governments and have paid $845,108 to resolve allegations that they violated the federal and state False Claims Acts.
