Tara and Mackie love creating art. Tara enjoys painting and Mackie likes to make necklaces. Tara has been an artist her whole life. Mackie recently started to do art with LARC.

 

They had an opportunity to showcase their artwork at the Five Points Gallery in Torrington. They got to display their artwork, and there was an open gallery on the weekend. Their artwork was on display for an entire week.

 

Both Tara and Mackie agreed that the best part of the Open house was the cookies and drinks. Tara and Mackie enjoyed the fact that they got to pick their favorite pieces of art for the show.

 

The girls were also happy that Dad and Jen got to see their artwork. A quote from Tara and Mackie “We love our art class. It was really fun going to the art show. We would like to thank Janet and Betty.”
