Quality of Life Means Doing a Job you Love…
The Craig Taylor Success Story!
Craig was born in Waterbury on June 15, 1988, and grew up in Naugatuck. He went to Western Elementary School, Hillside Middle School and Naugatuck High School. He now lives in Middlebury with his parents and has many loving members in his family.
Craig works in many different jobs positions but his favorite one is at Hidden Acres, an equestrian farm in Preston CT. He works there two days during the week.
Craig grooms the horses and feeds them. He empties the water buckets, halters the horses, and has a major way of communicating and understanding the horses. Craig even sings lullabies and tells them how beautiful they are. He has an extremely deep and natural connection to all the horses. Craig cleans the horse’s stables and enjoys taking the horses for walks. In fact, they even call him “The Horse Whisperer.”
Having a job is inspirational and rewarding and it gives Craig an opportunity to make connections. It also helps him grow and gives him a sense of belonging. Working brings great joy to him.
