Getting help returning to work

Workers’ Rehabilitation Services (WRS) helps people get back to work after a job-related injury. This program gives support and training so you can return to a job that fits your abilities.

Most workers in Connecticut are covered by Workers’ Compensation insurance. This insurance can help pay for medical care, lost wages, and job training if you are hurt at work.

The main goal of WRS is to help you safely return to work in a job that works for you now. Getting help early can also lower the chance of getting hurt again.

To get services, you must have an open or approved Workers’ Compensation claim.
