What services does the Bureau of Rehabilitation Services offer?

Rehabilitation Services (BRS) is part of Connecticut’s Aging and Disability Services (ADS) and helps people with disabilities get ready for, find, and keep jobs. We offer many services tailored to your needs to help you succeed. BRS supports people with serious physical or mental disabilities to prepare for work and grow in their careers. Our goal is to help people with disabilities find competitive jobs.

BRS serves people with all disabilities except legal blindness. Individuals with legal blindness are served by Education and Services for the Blind (BESB).

Rehabilitation Services works under the direction of The State Rehabilitation Council (SRC) to help improve employment outcomes for people with disabilities.
