Lt. Gov. Wyman Statement on the Passing of Justice David Borden
(HARTFORD, CT) - Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman today released a statement on the passing of David Borden, a former Connecticut Supreme Court justice:
"Justice Borden genuinely cared about the people in his courtroom-he knew the impact of his leadership and ensured his humanity underpinned his work in the judiciary and well beyond. His dedication to justice wasn't confined to the courtroom, he offered his expertise to lawmakers and even volunteered after his retirement from the Supreme Court. My thoughts are with his family and friends during this very difficult time. I hope they are comforted by the lasting legacy he leaves in Connecticut."
