Lt. Governor Wyman Invites Public to Honor Fallen Troops at 9th Annual Wall of Honor Ceremony(HARTFORD, CT) - On Thursday, May 26, 2016, Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman and radio personality Brad Davis will host the 9th annual Wall of Honor ceremony at the Capitol in Hartford. Joined by Governor Dannel P. Malloy, Major General Thad Martin, state officials, and military families, the event memorializes the 65 Connecticut troops killed in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan since the 2001 terrorist attacks.
Established by Lt. Governor Wyman in 2007, the Wall of Honor is a permanent memorial that includes photos of 65 Connecticut men and women from all branches of the military.
The ceremony begins at 4:00 pm and will be held at the Wall of Honor in the Capitol Concourse between the Legislative Office Building and the Capitol in Hartford. It is free and open to the public.
