Friday: Lt. Gov. Wyman Attends 9/11 Service in Avon, Opens CT Maritime Festival in New London, Reviews Coast Guard Academy Cadet Drill
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Wednesday morning, Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman will make remarks at the 9/11 memorial service in Avon.
Later, she will join Admiral Robert J. Papp USCG (Ret) and other officials to open the 2015 Connecticut Maritime Heritage Festival, an annual event celebrating Long Island Sound and its impact on the state's economy, culture, and commerce. The Lt. Governor and Admiral Papp are festival co-chairs.
In the afternoon, Lt. Governor Wyman joins Admiral Papp at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy Cadet Fall Drill Review.
