Wednesday: Lt. Gov. Wyman Chairs Monthly Access Health CT Meeting, Speaks at Ceremonial Bill Signing in East Hartford
(HARTFORD, CT) - On Wednesday morning, Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman will chair the monthly board meeting of the state's healthcare exchange, Access Health CT.
In the afternoon, she will join Governor Dannel P. Malloy, Connecticut Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection Commissioner Dora Schriro, State Victim Advocate Natasha Pierre, Connecticut Sexual Assault Crisis Services (CONNSACS) staff and board, and other advocates at the ceremonial bill signing for Public Act 15-207, An Act Concerning Evidence in Sexual Assault Cases. This legislation will support victims of sexual assault and help investigators by establishing timelines for evidence testing.
