FRIDAY: LT. GOV. WYMAN ATTENDS EVENTS IN PLANTSVILLE, CROMWELL, ROCKY HILL, AND NORWICH

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Friday, Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman will make remarks to students and manufacturers at the Connecticut Dream It Do It manufacturing expo. In partnership with the State Department of Labor and in recognition of Governor Dannel P. Malloy designating October as Manufacturing Month, manufacturers from around the state will be holding a series of open houses, expos, and training programs to highlight manufacturing career options.

Later, the Lt. Governor will speak about youth services and juvenile justice at the 42 ^nd annual Youth Services Association conference.

The Lt. Governor will hold the first meeting of the Rocky Hill veterans advisory group. In August, Governor Malloy announced the formation of the group to support Connecticut's at-risk veterans, improve state services to veterans, and determine the most effective use of the Rocky Hill campus.

In the afternoon, she will join U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal, U. S. Senator Chris Murphy, and Congressman Joe Courtney at Three Rivers Community College to recognize federal support of the community college

manufacturing programs.
