TUESDAY: LT. GOV. WYMAN ATTENDS TORRINGTON COURTHOUSE GROUNDBREAKING

(HARTFORD, CT) - On Tuesday, Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman will join state and local officials to break ground for the Litchfield Judicial District Courthouse in Torrington. The new courthouse , due to be completed in the spring of 2016, consolidates court services in Bantam, Litchfield, and Torrington to a 174,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art building. Governor Malloy visited the site in May to announce the approval of funding for the $81 million project, which will create or retain an estimated 1,424 construction jobs.
