(HARTFORD, CT) - On Wednesday, Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman will recognize legislative and community proponents of PA 14-172, An Act Improving Employment Opportunities Through Education And Ensuring Safe School Climates. This bill, signed by Governor Dannel P. Malloy on June 11, establishes a grant program to promote the educational and social well-being of children, and addresses bullying to improve school climates.

Later, the Lt. Governor will speak at the 10 ^th anniversary of the New Haven Children's Probate Court. The Court has taken a new, proactive, and long-term approach to handling children's issues and is held up as a national model.
