LT. GOVERNOR WYMAN JOINS DEFENSE SECY. PANETTA, CONGRESSMAN COURTNEY

FOR TOUR OF ELECTRIC BOAT SHIPYARD

Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman will join Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta and U.S. Rep. Joe Courtney, D-2nd District today for a tour of the Electric Boat shipyard in Groton.

The group will receive briefings regarding the building of submarines, will tour testing facilities and board a Virginia-class attack submarine. The tour is scheduled for 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Electric Boat recently began building the 13th Virginia-class submarine.
