TODAY: LT. GOVERNOR WYMAN, FEMA OFFICIALS TO ASSESS DAMAGE IN EAST LYME, WATERFORD AND GROTON
Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman today will guide Federal Emergency Management Administration officials through storm-damaged areas in East Lyme, Waterford and Groton.
Wyman will help coordinate local officials with FEMA inspectors to assess whether the towns are eligible for federal disaster-recovery funds.
Because the FEMA teams are visiting various locations in the three towns, interested media should call Steve Jensen at 860-539-9298 or Steve.Jensen@ct.gov to arrange coverage times and locations.
